Looking for knowledge from industry veterans? Mentorship is often the way to do that, and it's a hot topic in the bar world, but it can sometimes be a convoluted concept. With so many newer service industry members looking for guidance, it's important to understand a few things:
1. What mentorship actually means.
2. The best ways to forge a mentor/mentee type of relationship.
3. It's possible to have a very successful career without a mentor, if you choose.
This seminar includes a panel of industry leaders who have found success in their field without a mentor. They'll guide us in a discussion about what mentorship is to them, while speaking to the decisions they made, the jobs they've held, the conferences/events they've attended, the competitions they've entered and the steps they took to get ahead sans a traditional mentor/mentee relationship.
