Joel ‘Tatu” Herrera was born and raised in the Westside of San Antonio. He is the co-founder and co-owner of “The Cocineros “ and Tatu’s Food Debauchery where he expresses his true passion for food. His style can only be explained by “Life in the Kitchen”. Tatu has been cooking for over 10 years and feels a deep pride for his heritage and application of food with nothing going to waste. Not only does he combine classically trained skills he learned at the CIA, but he also infuses the flavor with outside of the box cooking ideas. Tatu’s only true passion is for people to feel the food and not only taste it. Please be a guest at his table for life.
